Unless you are willing to pay subscription fees, these are pretty much useless. Best Buy associate was not educated in this product and didn't give accurate info when I asked questions.

Don’t buy Okuma
Bought the solar panels; these wouldn't give it a charge to last throughout the night. Bought the wiring to power directly; this finally solved the power problem. Paid the subscription for each camera to have the video stored. I have had a bike stolen, a chainsaw stolen, vandalism to my mailbox, and dogs *** in my yard.
All of which was not captured on video. Mowing my yard, it captured one pass with the lawn mower. Well over a thousand dollars so far into this, only to have nothing prevented.
Currently on the phone with Arlo to try and return all the crap. I'm guessing small claims are in order.

Don't buy this product if they can just change policy and have system shut down cause you don't want to buy a plan when you bought it no plan needed. Cameras also are slow to record objects at least before they turned it off
I've owned arlo cameras for over 4 yrs now and it always sent me notifications and video of people approaching the house.which is what was promised when I bought them.All of a sudden they stopped send me videos and notices. I called for support and they said my cloud account and plan expired and if I want these services back I would have to buy a plan from them.There was no notice of this change and they did it without warning. Support would only say the plan I had expired (never had plan ) and their sorry.

Hey i canceled My subscription and they are still billing me a higher amount each month now!
Im not using my Arlo and deactivated my subscription a year ago . But Im still seeing a 10$ Arlo on my statements! Stop taking my money and refund my monies back!

Called to ask why they say outdoor camera, yet in safety and compliance it says don't get it wet. So, what are you to do, take them in every time it might rain? That is dumb.

I got your product last night from Walmart. I came home, set it up, hit the SMS button to do the two-step verification.
It then came to a menu of 'trust it' or 'don't trust it,' but if I trusted it, it would take the SMS off my two-step verification. Then I hit 'don't trust,' so I guess I did not trust my phone and that's where I'm at.
Oh, and then I went ahead and went from this email to corysandiford@***.com with the same number trying to sidestep, I guess, because I ended up putting it as an untrusted device. Please get back to me; my phone number is 907-***-*****.

Terrible Customer Service
Arlo shut off my Notification Feature as I would not sign up for one of their plans. You cannot even call or email them unless you do sign up for one of their plans.
They also discontinued features on an older Arlo that I had that worked fine for several years.
Terrible service. I will never buy another one and will be certain to tell everyone.

SupporterArlo does not provide meaningful CS. I took about a week to get a phone number that would get me to a person. I spoke to her yesterday but the problem is still not resolved . They will call me back.
The issue was that Arlo does not provide Customer Service to customers who pay for CS. Although the problem for which I sough CS has been identified and addressed if Arlo had been providing CS it would not have taken 3 weeks to speak to a CS rep, then go through 3 reps before getting someone who knew what to do.
But I was always routed to a bot and the problems I had did not fit neatly into their boxes so I never could get an answer or a human rep. All links led to circular links or a disconnect. Messages left by email were answered with posted solutions that I had already tried and did not work. Then in 2024 I was constantly barraged to "upgrade, which I did not want to do.
Then I accidentally hit the button for the upgrade and it was a nighmare: The photos that used to be 1"x2" then became 1/2"X1" and difficult for me (a person with glaucoma) to see. They added a widget which I still don't understand. The entire operation that used to be simple changed to become difficult. I called Arlo back within 2 hours of this change and asked to go back to the previous simple format as I did not need their fancy additions.
I am not a techie. I want SIMPLICITY not more and more neat features. But Arlo refused to take it back even though it had only been 2 or 3 hours. I was told that they COULD NOT do it because all future programs would be the new format.
BUT LAST WEEK MY FRIEND GOT 5 ARLO CAMERAS AND THE SET UP WAS ON THE OLD FORMAT THAT THEY REFUSED TO GIVE BACK TO ME.
ARLO needs to:
1. Make CS real with NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS.
2. STOP HIDING PHONE NUMBERS that take you to people who know something and are NOT reading algorhythms.
3. Stop making use of the app more complex and think about the fact that most customers want SIMPLICITY.
Your task is to serve the needs and desires of the CUSTOMERS NOT YOURSELF. CONSIDER PEOPLE WHO HAVE VISUAL IMPAIRMENTS and difficulty seeing mini micro photos. Why are you exempt from assisting the visually disabled?
4. Offer us the ability to get people who can come on site to help if needed even when we are willing to pay for it.
ARLO USED TO BE GOOD WHEN I FIRST USED THEM CIRCA 2014 BUT WHOEVER HAS DECIDED TO DO AWAY WITH PERSONAL CS AND TURN CS OVER TO BOTS AND ADD COMPLEXITY NEEDS TO BE FIRED.
READ THE REVIEWS!!! READ HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE TRASHED THEIR ARLO CAMERAS TO MOVE TO RING OR SOMETHING ELSE.

There is no customer service. This has been going on for 2 years. I assumed cameras didn’t work but when I got an email about a trial subscription I am once again trying to get confirmation no service is wanted for these cameras!
I can't find a way to speak with a person regarding my Arlo cameras. I received an email from Arlo regarding a trial subscription.
I do not want it! The cameras have not worked for over 2 years.
No one can determine why. Please cancel any and all services.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Was not able to log in to my account, but was able to provide an email to utilize and recover my account.
Currently, I do not have access to my account or email to reset the password or log in. I need help resetting the email and password and logging in to the account.

First I received a call from "Arlo" they sent me a bill with the correct logo. Had all info on my service .
I later found out that the person calling was a scam possibly from inside arlo. No offer to reimburse was,made. I cancelled my service but they have continued to deduct monthly bills. Then when I try to complain on the website, they tell me I'm not entitled because I don't have an account.
I am out several hundred dollars already this year. Stay away from Arlo
